We’re starting to see houses sit on the market longer, which means there’s more inventory on the market to choose from. We’re not seeing as many multiple-offer situations either, so you can take your time to think about what you want and you don’t have to rush to make a decision.
Many buyers who looked for houses during springtime and the previous winter and didn’t have any luck are now coming back onto the market, and they’re getting great deals. Some are even buying for less than asking price.
"Local agents are more apt to accept offers from local lenders."If you work with my team to make your home purchase, we have some great financing options we can offer you. All you have to do is reach out to us and we’ll schedule a sit down so we can go over the checklist of what you want in a home. We’ll also talk about your purchasing power and recommend a local lender you can consult with further. Once you’ve chosen the house you want and you’re ready to make an offer on it, we can advise you on how to write that offer so you get the best deal possible.
It’s very important to work with a local lender in this situation. We aren’t seeing many multiple-offer situations, but for the right house in the right area, they’re still happening. Local agents are more apt to accept offers from local lenders they have worked with before than from big banks or internet lenders.
Before you get the process started, get all your ducks in a row and know what you’re looking for. That way, when you do reach out to a Realtor, they can formulate a game plan in no time at all and find you a home that fits your exact needs.
If you’d like to get the ball rolling on your future home purchase or you have any other real estate questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to me. I’d love to help you.
